It depends on what criteria we are judging 'best'. If best in this case, means most technically able, then it will include Satch, Vai and the like.

If not, then it probably won't.

I know its been mentioned, but Eruption always gets me.

My favorite guitar solo is "El Faról" by Santana. This beautiful guitar solo is a departure from his frequent Northern Mexican style, and is actually a bachata* song.

*Bachata is a genre of Dominican romantic music, for those of you who are laymen to Latin music.
