You have to respect that he did horrible things and learned that he wanted to change in the name of love, call it sappy but it is the drive behind his change.

there will never be a rogue/gambit movie purely for the fact that the characters simply aren't deep or interesting enough...

the only thing that made their relationship interesting was her power... thats it...

and they havent even introduced gambit yet... they cant just stick him in a film..... what if he doesnt appeal to the audience then their goes a year down the drain....

look, i see what your tryin to do, but the only xman who has enough backstory to have his own movie is wolverine, and i hate him, but i can admit it...

nobody else has enough backstory (enough interesting backstory) to warrant a full movie...

Well, I think this movie would allow for a lot of other characters to be present and there is a very interesting story behind Gambit all the way to his conversion into a good guy, I don't find Rogue to be terribly interesting personally but an accessorie to Gambit's coming out. I think there is a lot of history, well enough for a 1-2 hour movie. I'm not writing it but I'm sure some genious can figure it out and before they throw Gambit's character into X3 and screw it up even more they might just want to reserve some things for a seperate movie. I'm not expecting that they will make a movie on this but I'm glad to try because I want to see it, I'll leave all the tecnical crap to Fox. They already gave up most of Wolverine's story, I love him, but how are they're already making these movies without a good plan, it seems.

Wolverine doesn't deserve his own movie,what they should do is have the x-men come in to his solo movie and hog most of his screen time for a change-it's only fair.lol

but he's still with the exception of the professor the only xman to have enough backstory for a 2 hour movie...

He may have the back story but so what,surely he's had enough screen time in x-1 and x-2 to last a lifetime.Fox need to realise there are other characters in the x-men that they could expand in x-3 to make them interesting enough for a spin-off movie(not going to happen though- thanks to those stupid money grubbing,no imagination morans at fox).
