On July 30, 1998; Gary Coleman allegedly punched a woman (Tracy Fields) several times after he had generously signed her an autograph on a piece of paper and she gave it back to him and asked him to write a little more on it. He told her she had an attitude and she made a rude remark about his acting career saying something like that's why your a child actor and not an adult actor. The incident occurred at a Hawthorne, California uniform store where Mr. Coleman was buying a bullet-proof vest for his security job at a local mall. An August 25th court hearing was set. He pleaded not guilty today to misdemeanor assault and battery charges. Coleman, 30, wasn't in Inglewood Municipal Court for the arraignment, and instead had his attorney enter his plea. He faces a $1 million lawsuit.
