It is Imperial Palace.

I think it could also be the Emperor Palpatine Surgical Reconstruction Center as described in the Dark Lord book by James Luceno.

yeah REX, but the structure is different than the EmPalSuReCon.....without the attached four landing platforms....look closely...the building is located in the Senate District(as seen in Dark Times #1)

Emperor Palpatine Surgical Reconstruction Center

The building was first depicted in Dark Times #1, and matches the description given for what is described as his "throne room" in Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader. It's described as "Coruscant's tallest building".

It may not be Imperial Palace after all, though. Wookieepedia claims that the Imperial Palace existed during the time of the Galactic Republic, but does not cite a source, and also claims that the building depicted is Dark Times is supposed to be the Imperial Palace, but also claims it does not match its previous depictions.

Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader has Mon Mothma tell Bail Organa that there was talk in the Senate of "building a palace to house Palpatine".

It just goes to show that Wookieepedia is chock full of erroneous information, and I made the mistake of basing my statement that it was Imperial Palace on Wookieepedia's word.

Good issues. I am really likeing Dark Times, it's probably my favorite comic right now. KOTOR is still intresting as ever.

Nice Information background Barringer, it's difficult what building we seen in Dark Times #1 and Dark Times #13. It's a new structure that's not seen before so we can only speculate. If you look in Dark Times #2 there's Vader's Palace at the beginning, so why not the Imperial Palace of Sidious. Sorry for my english.

KOTOR is my overall favorite of the comics that Dark Horse is producing, and I keep track of Legacy just to see what direction they take it since it is the 'future' of Star Wars. Dark Times is definitely interesting, of course, and I like where it is now with Dass Jennir soloing it.
