So 169 was the last Reversal of Fortune...?

It does say "End" in the last panel. I didn't spot it immediately either.
Unless the next strip directly ties in to those characters and their fate, I think it's a bit of a letdown.

I agree. What a huge letdown. Would be nice to know what happened to the 3 in the control room.

You will see their fate in Evasive Action: Recruitment, the sequel to RoF which will be out soon.
