think it might be red vs blue

Ok since everyone is on the topic of the ani-obi- duel i figured id throw in my 10 cents.

noticed that in this picture obi-wan has a lightsaber and anakin dont then in the far bottom right cornor you see obi-wans saber on the ground which means he some how has anakins saber. then I believe at some point anakin gets the choke on Obi-wan as in the trailer

Then in this scene we see Anakin chokeing Obi-wan but notice anakins saber is in obi-wans hand which kinda shows that in some point in the duel obi-wan loses his saber.

Then notice in this scene Obi-wan has his own saber again which means that while anakin is chokeing him he drops anakins saber and then see's his saber and grabs his own and activates it.

I dont know, but to me it seems a bit photoshop'ed and the top of the blade doesn't quite match the bottom, maybe I am just seeing things,

but thats not really what I want to see, cuz I want blue vs blue all the way, ani pulling up a red lightsabre could be a bit cheesy

"I know there is still good in you ani, oh wait you have a red sabre so you must be evil. I better throw you in to the lava then"

Besides, this is THE DUEL.

EU has basically made this piece of its lore a reality. So many fans read the EU stuff and presumed the way Anakin becomes badly scarred is because he falls into some lava, and that's how Obi-Wan manages to keep Anakins saber.

That was probably the main thing that was accepted by many Star Wars fans - Lucas has pretty much incorporated it 100% from what the fans "assumed" Darth Vaders birth to be like from the EU story.

It's blue vs blue. To me, it's a symbolic sign of how wrong things are. Two blue sabers should never clash - yet they are. It's a sign of how awful things have become. Having red vs blue is just same old same old.

lol, I always thought that was a walkway. Never realized that was the Mustafar confrence table. 😂 Awesome though.

I don't see how you think that is a sloppy job with the lightsaber. It looks fine when you play the trailer.

disagree kinda on one point though red superfly, the details of the duel didn't come from eu, they came from lucas as far as i'm aware.....he even had production art done up for rotj showing the emperor's throne sitting in a lava flow deep under coruscant, and had it incorporated into one of the novels, and mentioned it many times in interviews.....you're probably right about the blue vs blue, but there appears to be a lot of sabre switching going on....i don't think we can count out a switch to red halfway through.....but i'm not really bothered myself until i see it in cinema....

I agree with Rsuperfly, again I think the whole duel shows the deeper meaning of something good turning evil.
Besides, we'll see enough red vs. blue, puple vs. red/blue, green v.s red etc...
Still, I hope Lucas has something special planned for Vader.
He says Vader has only 2 to 5 minutes of screentime, but although everybody denies Vader will be in action...it could be a very nice plan in deceiving us till a big surprise is shown in the end!
I mean, why go through all the difficulty of showing Vader in full action shots, while doing nothing with it.
I couldn't be only for publicity-shots or action-figures...come on...

most likely the duel will ba all blue but nothing has been confirmed by the OS
