The mask of inscrutability, or are you really you?

postmodernism anyone...we all wear masks, we are all mercenary thesbians hired to play roles, we do not exist...it's a very existential, post modern thought bubble. but to be quite honest, i am the exact same person on kmc as i am in real life. muse is molly. molly is muse. my emotions shine through here, if i was on more, you all would be able to tell when i'm stressed out. i can be philisophical but at the same time i really don't want to come across as stuffy, so i don't act that way unless needed. i do that in real life and i do it here. i suggest you all read some postmodern literature after this thread, i can't exactly say that it changed my life, existance before essence etc. but it will redifine already existing thoughts.

woah, LOL..this thread is going deep. 😐

Just the way I like it. 😖hifty:

Thanks for posting guys. 🙂

no prob!

has anyone ever read Kafka, more specifically 'the metamorphosis'? it in respects relates to what we are talking about. i'm studying it in my ap literature class. catcher in the rye also toys with the idea of masks. modernism and postmodernism focus alot on that. does anyone know what i am talking about?
