well the same can be sid for elektra, she has trained almost all of her life to. yeah diana has more experience, but elektra is so much more ruthless.

Diana has been training way longer then that. And she is much more skilled, stronger, and she can be ruthless too.

Diana is trained is all manners of classical combat such as wrestling, brawling, and ancient martial arts. She is an expert hand to hand combatant and knows how to apply her knowledge of ancient techniques to the more modern forms of fighting, assimilate it, and use it to improve herself as well as her pure skill in hand to hand. The fact that she is so well versed in the schools of combat that make up most modern systems is a definite advantage for her as has been proven time and time again.

In more direct terms, Diana isn't what you would term a 'martial artist' in the Eastern fighting style sense. In terms of her combat skills and strength, she is on that tier of powerhouses that include Superman, Martian Manhunter, and Captain Marvel.

The Amazon race as a whole are all hovering on the edge of peak human by default. Some are higher or lower depending on individual strengths and weaknesses. Diana is no different. Even without her augmented physical abilities, she is still someone to contend with. In terms of raw combat skill (without the benefit of her powers) she is on level with the likes of Batman who she has been shown to spar comfortably with on various occasions. Despite her amazing prowess however, someone like Lady Shiva could take her down if Diana did not have the benefit of her powers or some serious strategy working on her side. Her agility would fall just below that of Nightwing.

Elektra would probably kill her pretty quickly due to her sais rather than skill. Wonder Woman's a good fighter but she cannot dodge without her superspeed and the bracelets wont stop sais

Uh...why wouldn't they stop sais?

Elektra recently took out a few thousand 'the hand' members with Wolverine. It was her idea too, Wolverine didn't even think they could do it.

The problem is how much of Wonder Woman's abilities are attributed to her powers. I mean you have to understand that even IF Elektra could beat wonder woman without her powers...that doesn't mean that Elektra with wonder woman's powers would beat Wonder Woman with her powers.

With that POV, if wonder woman suddenly lost her powers, I'm pretty sure elektra would win. It's not the same question as who's fighting ability is better.

I think you're thinking about it backwards (or maybe you should try it backwards.) WW is use to not using her powers. Try it this way.

give Elektra Identical powers to WW. WW wins, she's the better fighter and probably has much higher will.

Actually, YOU'RE thinking about it backwards. Whoever has to adjust will be at a disadvantage. Here wonder woman has to learn what it's like to have no powers.
