So? That's because a lot more people smoke than they do eat rat poison. Can you kill yourself by using cigarettes once? No. No matter how much you smoke, it will take years for them to kill you. Eat enough rat poison once and your dead. I'm not saying cigarettes are safe, but to say they are no safer than rat poison is an exaggeration. Put it this way.. you have a choice and you have to choose to either smoke a pack of cigarettes or eat some rat poison, which one will you choose?

But the mere fact that pot hasn't killed a single person, says to me that it's a biiiiit better than tobacco. Has less negative side effects, has some positive effects, of which tobacco has none. People say, "it calms me." Have you ever seen anyone on pot? The calmest people on Earth.

It's not as simple as that. Respecting the rules I can understand but like, respect is earned where respect is given in my eyes. She was being as disrespectful to him as he was to her. Infact let's bring this on:
If he killed his mother for throwing away weed, I doubt he was packing a full tool set anyway, metaphorically speaking. She's his mother, she must have known this. Plus Im sure you're correct about her knowing.. which means this must have been an ongoing event in that house. (both the disrespect and the smokin)

It's not. Trying to force it, is. It doesn't matter if you care which way the "sugar was spread" or not. She played her part. Mother's don't automatically deserve respect, by the way. If my mother was forceful with me or disrespectful to me, the fact that she birthed me wouldn't warrant me sitting there taking it.

Not really. Mental health problems can sometimes be set off through various actions. Location isn't neccessarily a factor.

Irrelevant. If pot smoking was legal, workplaces with heavy machinery or occupations that required the operation of heavy machinery, would obviously have a no smoking (pot) policy. Besides, responsibility or ability with a drug cannot be connected to it's level of legality. Purely because alcohol is legal and people still drive under the influence of it.
