Lucas and the Very Long Engagement...

Hi guys,

I apologise if this has already been posted (I did search the forum, but alas in vain) so here goes...

George Lucas visited the Curzon Cinema Mayfair this afternoon to watch Jean-Pierre Jeunet's beautiful new film A Very Long Engagement (Un long dimanche de fiançailles). Hopefully he enjoyed it and will take some of Jeunet's wonderful editting and timing away with him as he heads deep into post production on EP III.

And if anyone feels like mobbing him for an autograph, George is staying at the Athenaeum Hotel, 116 Piccadilly for the duration of the recording of the score. I apologise in advance if anyone think this is an invasion of privacy.

If any of you have not yet seen A Very Long Engagement, I suggest you do so as it is one of the best films I have seen in a while.

Unknown Hero Out.

o..k

off to get my plane tix now..!

If any of you people watch A Very Long Engagement I'll be forced to kill you with my lightsaber.

Except...he's not the editor...that might pose a problem.

Is he in the hotel or in the apartments ?

I'd presume, with his bank balance, the apartments. He didn't tell us his room number unfortunately...for very obvious reasons...

Note to Arsenal: I presume from the tone of you post that you assume that nobody who frequents these forums would usually join the audience of a foreign language film? Remember this site (KMC) is not just a Star Wars forum. It is named 'Killer Movies' and A Very Long Engagement is definitely that. Lucas has the open mindedness to understand that as do many others involved in the film industry, be it fans or professionals. Open your mind.
