Latest updates from TFN on ep3!

Mace Windu;

"[Mace's death] is a satisfying death." - SLJ

"Nick Gillard has combined a lot of different fighting styles so that [the Mace fight] looks very good, it's spectacular, and it shows off my skills. It shows many sides of Mace during the fight: It makes him look dominant, it makes him vulnerable, it makes him sneaky in ways, and it makes him strong." - SLJ

"...I'm standing there and I'm winning [the lightsaber fight] actually even without Anakin's help up until he steps in and does what he does to turn the tide and that, you know, I go out the way I do. I've been begging not to die in my sleep or get stabbed in the back by, you know, some clone and it didn't happen. So I'm happy." - SLJ

"[My lightsaber fight] is rousing. It's a great light-saber battle with 102 moves in three big rooms." - SLJ

Yoda;

Yoda has had enough. The diminutive Jedi Master strides into Chancellor Palpatine's outer office, ignoring the Emperor's "Royal" Guards, to confront Palpatine. - Insider #80

In one scene, Obi-Wan and Yoda discover the devastation brought about by Darth Vader, the newest Dark Lord of the Sith. - Homing Beacon #127

When the Separatists invade the Wookiee world of Kashyyyk, Yoda leads the Republic's clone army into battle. Assisted by the mighty Wookiees Chewbacca and Tarfful, Yoda barely escapes a surprise ambush when the Clone Wars take a fateful turn. - MR

Upon his return to Coruscant, Yoda learns the terrible truth. With the Jedi decimated, and the Republic reorganized into the first Galactic Empire, Yoda must face the new Emperor in the ultimate confrontation between the greatest wizards of the Force in the galaxy. - MR

Anakin;

[Anakin] converts from Jedi to Sith without knowing it or even wanting it and becomes enmeshed in a trap by the Emperor. - CL

A cowled Anakin receives instruction and words of dark wisdom from his new mentor. "The Council's first move will be against the Senate," Anakin says. He listens to a few more words from Sidious. "I understand, Master." - OS

Post more if you like people, but do credit where you've got it from!!!!!

yeah I know, judging by his scream in ROTJ when vader tosses him down a big hole...I don't think he likes them very much.

Yeah i would have to agree Grievous is not Darth Maul but i still believe that Guin Gonn is Master Sipha Dias...

More from TFN:

Shmi's account of Anakin's conception in Episode I is true. - PH

Anakin does not have a Padawan. - PH

Anakin will be seen as a hologram in Episode III. - PH

To Pablo's knowledge, James Earl Jones has not yet signed the contract to voice Darth Vader. - PH

Concerning Anakin's charred look at the end of Episode III, Dave Elsey said, "When I went back to George I asked, 'Look, how much can we get away with here? How nasty can we make it?' And he basically just said, 'Do what you have to.'" - OS (Dave Elsey)

"The controversy is going to be that people expect some horrible, horrific thing to happen to [Anakin] that caused him to [become Darth Vader]. It's much subtler. It's something that everybody faces--when you're looking at yourself, you can see your good and your bad, and say, "Is this a selfish choice or is this a compassionate choice? And once I get something, what would I do to keep from losing it? Would I make a pact with the devil to keep it?" - GL

When asked if he'd been called for any voice work in Episode III, James Earl Jones replied with a "not yet". - JEJ

Anakin does not use Force lightning in Episode III. - NG

Anakin and Obi-Wan say their goodbyes in Scene 72, which takes place on a Clone Landing Platform. The background is filled out with a massive staging area and an immense Republic Star Destroyer. - OS

"Obi-Wan knows his padawan is responsible for [recent devastating events]. It's like a parent knowing that his child has become truant but not knowing the extent of the damage until it was too late. Obi-Wan knew his child was responsible for all this in the blink of an eye, and as a Master, he is responsible for his Padawan." - DL

In the [Dooku] duel, Dooku tosses both Anakin and Obi-Wan through the air like rag-dolls, using the Force to turn the two Jedi into barely-controlled missiles. - OS

By the time Obi-Wan returns to Coruscant, the Republic has fallen, and his worst fear is realized - his former Padawan Anakin Skywalker has turned to the dark side and become Darth Vader, a Dark Lord of the Sith. Now, Obi-Wan must confront - and destroy - his former apprentice. On the volcanic lava planet of Mustafar, old friends turned fierce enemies face off in the ultimate lightsaber battle that will forever change the destiny of a galaxy… - MR

Congratulations, you've just stumbled onto old news.

[Anakin] converts from Jedi to Sith without knowing it or even wanting it and becomes enmeshed in a trap by the Emperor. - CL

That's really vague. Maybe someone can elaborate.

Non James Earl Jones involvement...?
*Prepares warm-bath and razor.....*
Pleeeeeeease let this be old and since irrelevant news......

Anakin will be seen as a hologram in Episode III. - PH

You think I didn't know that, I didn't post this so that people can say; "I've already seen this!"(because I already knew).
Since there are a lot of new members...you know...
This thread doesn't say "I post this for Mortanius" or "Old News"!

But thanks again for reminding me for this, let's start pointless threads again...

More from TFN;

Threepio's silver shin of A New Hope will not be explained in Episode III. - PH

C-3PO will begin and end the film golden. - PH

"If you remember, the first time we saw C-3PO, in Episode IV, was in the corridor of a starship (the Tantive IV wasn't it???). I can tell you that the last time we see C-3PO, in Episode III, is in the same corridor." - AD

One of Threepio's lines of dialogue is, "I could do with a tune up as well." - OS

"The first time we see [Padmé], it's sort of a mysterious scene where she's hiding behind pillars, waiting for Anakin to finish talking to Bail Organa." - TB

In scene 113, Bail Organa lands on the landing platform extending from the Jedi Temple's spires to find a disturbing turn of events. Clone Commander Appo reports to him a surprising development within the ranks of the Jedi order. - OS

Yoda heads to Kashyyyk in Episode III because he is said to have good relations with the Wookiees. - OS

In some shots, only the Wookiees' knees are seen behind Yoda. - OS

"[The Wookiee suits] are basically being built exactly the same as the original Chewie, so the actors have control of their own mouths," Elsey explains. "So when they open their jaws the lips move and the eyes are theirs, so you're basically looking into the eyes of the actors who are inside the Wookiees." - DE

Clone Commander Bacara, serving Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi on a distant world, is identified in the script as Commander '1138'. - OS

"[Grievous] is definitely an evil character. He's the leader of the droid army, but not a droid. He feels things; he feels things extremely, I would say. It's a lot of yelling, and shouting out orders, so [the voice] had a lot of drill sergeant to it." - MW

An overwhelmed Padmé reclines aboard her starship, the Naboo skiff, looking up to Obi-Wan. She has a single line of dialogue, delivered to Obi-Wan. She is kind of hot and sweaty. The shot is seen from over Kenobi's shoulder, and Obi-Wan's face is not visible. - OS

The issue of who ordered the clone army will not be touched upon in Episode III. - PH

The midichlorians are part of a backstory that will go over 80% of the audience's heads. - PH

Oooooh and for the people who read it TFN already.
Have fun with reading it again and again and again!

😂

The nos monster is a grotto-dwelling beast used to the low light conditions of the Utapau depths. - OS

All of the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan duel sequences have been turned over to ILM. - PH

There is no Force-surfing during the duel, though the platforms Obi-Wan and Anakin are riding on do serve a purpose. - PH

Alderaan's costumes have sleek skin-tight designs that have a retro-feel to them, helping join the generation-spanning styles of the prequel and original trilogy. - OS

"[Anakin's charred look at the end of Episode III] is some very dark imagery for a Star Wars film, probably making it the darkest Star Wars film out of all of them." - DE

There are twelve planets in Episode III, including four quick "Clone Wars"-type planets. - PH

It's the location of legend -- the volcanic backdrop of the epic duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. For over 20 years, fans of the saga have had only the briefest and vaguest of descriptions of this setting -- calderas filled with deadly molten lava, waiting to sear Anakin's flesh and strip away his last vestiges of humanity. - OS

The double-planet of Mustafar is a young, volatile world with a hellish landscape covered by volcanoes, lava flows and jagged obsidian mountains. This landscape will largely be realized by miniature environments. Digital matte paintings, plate photography of actual erupting volcanoes, and digital soot, ash and heat distortion will embellish the scenes. - OS

*(DOUBLE-PLANET!...so this confirms the big planet next to "TheDuel"-Mustafar is just Mustafar>..and no Bespin, Anoat or whatever big gas-giant).*

"[Mustafar] is supposed to be a very aggressive and really gnarly environment." - BG

On Mustafar, a sprawling industrial complex harvests and processes lava for its rich mineral content. - OS

There's not a lot of room for humor or lightness. - JL

Episode III begins in the middle of events that will stun the audience. - Insider #80

"... younger children especially should be warned that this is not your average SW film. Its alot darker. There's alot more scary stuff in it. Its brutal in places, and they should be aware of that." - Vanity Fair Article

"I think this is the film everybody's been yearning for." - RM

"For some people, the painful parts of the earlier films will start to make sense." - RM

"[For] fans who may have been disappointed, say, dealing with an 8-year-old boy when they wanted more adult story, this kind of fulfills everything." - RM

"I think [Episode III] will be PG-13, but with sufficient warnings.." - RM

"We never have any blood. But there is a lot of...interesting stuff." - RM

Revenge of the Sith contains the strongest emotional chords of any Star Wars film, most of them expressed by anguished Jedi characters. - Homing Beacon #127
