Dr. Strange versus Prof. X

Hi guys, been reading the site a bit and I'm impressed with the knowlegde here. I an old guy so take it easy in me. I always thought this would be an iteresting matchup.

Dr. Strange versus Professor X.

Dr strange is powerful on a cosmic scale. Prof-x is barely the best telepath on earth. All xavier can do is to read minds and influence them. Dr Strange can probe and modify the very structure of reality itself

Dr Strange probably has magical defences that prevent telepaths from influencing his mind or attacking him telepathically, so he'd likely win.

well the astral plane is supposed to be completely secure from outside influence. if he took strange there he could prob. have his umh way with him

Well... Strange could step out of a side dimension where Charles couldn't detect him... then dimension gate in behind Xavier and put the kibosh on him before the Professor could spin his wheelchair around.

Yeah, there are more ways Strange can get Professor X then there are ways Prof X can get Strange. Then again, Strange had trouble against Mastermind's illusions, and Charlie had to bail him out, so it's hardly a cakewalk for Strange. Strange would need to know he's fighting X before the fight started so he can cast the appropriate spell. If X ambushed Strange or they ran into each other at the Quickmart, Strange loses at the speed of...well...thought.

Chances of the two randomly meeting aren't all that high though. So I give the fight to Strange.

Could go either way, but though prof. X is one of the strongest telepaths, Strange is no telepathic pushover either. I give it to Strange.

😎 I think that even though Prof X. is extremely formidable in all of the lands of telepaths. He just can't hang with the good Dr. who himself has one of the top minds as far as forcing his minds will upon others. And i believe that the Dr. could quickly use one of the million+ spells that he's without question the master of, and summon up some nice and nasty of whatever he wants, to take Pro. X to any of the many other dimensions he visits, and make X chill out for whatever time the Dr. would deem sufficient per their disagreement of the minds. the Dr. probably got some sort of mystic shield up at all times to not allow telepaths an entrance.

Strange IMO rather easily.

but ya i will give Prof X i have seen Dr. Strange effected by illution and other mental attacks

U know I dont know whether Prof X can defeat Strange but What If X was sorceror supreme Just like in AMalgam?
Would he have made a better Sorceror Supreme?

well xavier can freeze the neuro cells in the brain

xavier can do many thing , but he doesn't even probe minds (unless it's important).

if he start using his mental power he can full a win.
