It's been a long time since I actively posted here and looked at threads to see where I could participate in...
I remember actively leaving to not get too spoiled for the last movie, to keep the magic of the story unshattered so I could feel the same thing I got seeing ROTJ: not knowing how things would wrap up.
First time in months I returned... possibly the last time I have returned.
I heard many things about the state of this section and I always thought that it was possibly imagined or exaggerated but I was wrong.
I see threads here that were already done and over from before the movie came out (Vader's name), I see threads here that handle about the most retarded subjects (Why mace is bald) and I see threads that are full of people ignoring the original question, bashing the creator etc. But even more: there are posters here that are clearly under the 13 year or in some cases: are as old as the amount of posts they have. (or is the American educational system indeed that bad?)
I can not help but wonder what has happened here. I remember when AOTC came out, this forum also had the weird new members but they adapted, brought something new and that was it. After AOTC things never got to be seen as "weird" or "out of place", but every since January of this year, things have been going downhill which is a shame for there are plenty of things to discuss about these movies but still some fail to see that this platform could have been and still can be the best opportunity one could get to exchange ideas...
