I hate them too, here in Argentina most of the people have "Ideas" about the american South.
My sister for example thinks that most people in the US are idiots. I´m sick of telling her that that is a stupid assumption and that she is being an idiot for that... but she never listens.
The worst part is that most of the things she likes (Tim Burton, the OT, Disney, Wonder Woman, etc) is from AMERICA!!! even the Tv shows he watches..... she is really daft when she wants....
I didn´t mean to make you angry, but I have to ask you. You have no idea (well, probably do) of the level of dissimformation about the US here in South America. I´am one of the few who believes that US policy is not so bad, but if I open my mouth they probably lynch me, like the mindless idiots they are........
