well if drawings not your thing, stick with photography as you say.
but practice makes perfect, and your painting was really awsome, so you have some talent with your hands.
dont give in so easily. when i first started drawing i sucked, well sucked for a whole year, until i took art class in school.lol
if you like drawing practice, if you do it just to do it, then you will always stink at it.......sorry old mum.

It was Kierra from Pride and Prejudice, but the lines weren't dark enough and our scanner did a crappy job picking it up.

Its not rude, its honest. I know it sucks, and I am working on it, but it seems I can only draw horses 🙁

i mostly draw comic art, i can draw some people but it takes me weeks to get everything right.
as for my art in comics or manga, i can draw lmost everything.
i am going to start art school in the fall, to better my chances of getting into DC comics or Marvel comics.
