Sorry about that, sometimes I have attrociously ghetto grammar for such a distinguished, loquacious person of the admirable status I have attained through my brief sessions of schooling and requisite use of said knowledge, forthwith. 😛
I love Narnia! It was either my number 2 or 3 for the whole last year.
I can't wait for Prince Caspian. 🙂

No problem. Being older, and remembering the BBC versions, this was an incredible experience for me. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe was my absolute favorite book growing up. I was about 20 when the BBC version came out and I remember calling my mom and saying guess what they've made into a movie?????
I remember sitting in the theater waiting for ROTS to come on and watching the trailer. I had no idea they were making this into a movie and didn't realize what movie it was at the beginning of the trailer. Then, when Lucy opens the door to the wardrobe and shortly thereafter when the screen said something like Based on the Beloved Story by C.S. Lewis, I got chills on my arms. My mouth was hanging open at the end of the trailer because it looked like it would be great. When it was finally realeased, I had tears in my eyes when I saw it onscreen. Adamson brought the Narnia that had only existed in my head to screen almost exactly as I had pictured it. I loved it immediately. My daughter (5) loves the film also, and I overheard my mother telling her how much I enjoyed the book when I was just a few years older than she is. That was 30 years ago and she still remembers. There was no talking to me when I was reading that book; I wouldn't hear a word you said as I was in Narnia myself!

Yeah, I had all the books as a kid, and all of the BBC versions on video (lucy the bucktooth, 😂), did you ever see the cartoon movie?
