I'm Asian, but I was born and grew up here in Australia. I just dont hold with all the customs, traditions, culture and religion. It drives me nuts!

yeh, its the 21st century afterall. you would think they would change the rules and allow more freedom. Dont get me wrong, they are great people, but i couldnt live like that❌

that's a bit of a generalisation tho. there are several big religious comunities in India, and IIRC arranged marriage is not a pre-requisite of any of them, it's more of a cultural thing.

it's just like any tradition now, something everyone does, but they can't remember why. 🙂

i have no problem with there culture, its just arranged marriages that really bug me. Its just not fair, and im sure alot of them dont like this rule either
