MSN.com= It sucks.
Roger Ebert= Thumbs up.
Among fans (reading here and at AICN) 7 or 8 out of ten liked it, and 2 or 3 hate it.
The haters wanted it to do the WHOLE Dark Phoenix saga, including the Shi'ar, the sun-eaters, and all that shit, and were mad about the choices to end/finalize most of the characters story arcs.
Those who liked it said either it was the best, or better than x1 but not as good as x2.
Should be fine for me then, I watched 'em both on FX this week, and I still like 1, so I think I'll like this one.
Side note:
X3 made 44.3 mil on Fri., beating Spiderman and Potter 4 for the best Fri. opening ever, and coming in 2nd behind Revenge of the Sith, which had 50 mil. on a Thur., for all time 1 day totals.
We may get an x4 yet!
