reminds me of when i was browsing eddie van halen videos on youtube and i see people dissing him and say "omg steve vai could blow him away!". meanwhile eddie invented hammering and was his inspiration.
moral: know and respect the roots
and sting sucks...but he was ok in that film...although the film was a bit weak
i saw Dune when i was really little. Not sure if it was the 1st "DUNE" or... Children of the Dune(that the 2nd one?)
im not sure, but what i really remembered from it was teh spice, and blue eyes.

Lynch's film is a little over 2 hours. There is a longer tv - version with some extra scenes and a horrible prologue. Lynch didn't agree and had his name removed from teh credits.
Supposedly, Lynch had shot enough to make a nine hour version. Now THAT I would have loved to have seen...

what i dont like about the "extended" version is that in it there are actually scenes cut out that were in the theatrical version 😖
like that scene where the baron is introduced, and he mutilates that slave flowerboy? they cut it out. did they miss the whole point of an "extended version"? thats what i had hoped for. instead its a differently cut version.
