the western prison system is based entirely on rehabilitation and not punishment. the death penalty is not a means of "eye for an eye" but rather protecting society against those who commit the most heignous crimes. it is not in any way related to "eye for an eye", even though the final outcome is identical.
no matter who is killed in america, the person being executed is treated humainly and allowed to die with dignity. even families of victims are allowed to view, but they must sit their and keep quiet. the person who 'pushes the button' so to speak is an objective official just doing his/her job.
in this video we see shiite militia men (basically terrorists on our side, much like the taliban during the afghan/russia war) and an audience of rabid jackals shouting insults. these people will turn on the u.s. in a heartbeat if we even hint at going to war with iran, so dont think they're our friends or that they even want our sympathy and approval.
:edit: visually i found the video deeply disturbing because of the obvious similarity between the setting/people at this execution and the beheadings of americans in the middle east. the way they were dressed and conducted themselves, i could be the same ****ing people for all i know.
