anyone familar with the Corel Painter X Wacom ? or even Corel Painter X?

i'm seriously thinking about buying the software and wacom to draw for my class. I'll save about $500 ont eh sale i'm getting.

I am VERY familiar with Painter IX, I have used 10 but I went back to IX becuase I felt version X actually had more problems than improvements. I like Corel Painter, but it has always been a tad buggy and has a tendency to crash. The makers are aware of this as many artists complain but they don't seem to be doing it any good. It is still great software IMO. Just remember to save often.

You can download a trial of both versions to see which one you like.

I used a wacom tablet back when I took a class on Painter years ago but i never liked them. I am a mouse guy and I like the precision of a mouse, so that is what I do. It feels more natural to me.

Yeah but, did GL ever consider a VII, VIII, IX trilogy?

(They should do a movie of KOTOR)
