Originally posted by THE JLRTENJACjust highlight it ftw.The Triforce is a triangular relic which features throughout the series as a nearly-omnipotent sacred item representing the essences of the Golden Goddesses. It is made up of three smaller triangles known as the Triforce of Wisdom, Triforce of Power and Triforce of Courage. Each of these embody the essence of their respective goddess, and bestow certain boons on their bearers. As shown in The Legend of Zelda and The Wind Waker, each piece can be further subdivided, though they become powerless in this state.
In most of its appearances, the Triforce or its pieces manifest as a crest on the hands of their bearers. These crests resonate when near each other, and the Triforce pieces can emerge from their bearers.
When united, the Triforce allows one who touches it to make a wish that lasts until they die or the wish is fulfilled. However, if the one who finds it does not possess a balance of the three virtues it represents, the pieces split into its three components and the finder is left with the one which represents the characteristic they value most; the other two pieces do likewise with two other characters "chosen by destiny".

so many bees.
A huge Bumble Bee managed to enter my house yesterday. I couldn't get it to leave through the window, so I was forced to try to kill it with a window (I had removed a storm window pane that I couldn't raise the night before to get some airflow into the room)... Unfortunately, the bee was on my bed, so when I hit it with the window... I only pissed it off... However it was trapped under the glass (and no, I wasn't about to release the thing) so I had time to figure out how to kill it without any... ... ... painful repercussions...
Except for the broken Glass I haven't quite gotten out of my bed yet... 🙁
And saturday, a wasp tried attacking me while I was mowing, ended up having to kill it with the lawnmower.
I think there may be a Bumble Bee nest somewhere near my house, because there are ALOT hanging out around here.

ah. so that's what triforce is. never heard of it.
I'm a huge Zelda fan, been playing those games since I was 4. 🙂 Infact, the Zelda game I played most (And remains my favorite to this day.) was A Link to the Past, which was released in 1992, I was always stealing my brother's copy to play it, untill my parents bought me my own copy for my 5th or 6th birthday.

there is a honey bee hive living literally on the other side of my parents' wall - bees got through a hole in the patched up part and set up their headquarters. I had been stung for the first time about a month ago. *Shake head* I hate bees.
can't you just squish the bumblebee? I'm not one for animal cruelty but if it would hurt you anyway...
how did you kill the wasp with a lawn mower? *blink*
Ah. I'm not sure if Zelda's known here in the Phils. I've never heard any of my friends get into it. xD

I tried squishing it, unfortunately, with it being on my bed and a pane of glass holding it down... my options were limited. I'm not for animal cruelty either, but I'm not going to let a bee sting me, nor am I just going to let it hang out in my house as long as it wants.
And I killed the wasp through sheer luck, It was flying low at me, and I lifted the front of the mower, and waitet. The wasp flew into the mower... and never came out. It had to have met the blades, because I don't see how I didn't end up stung if it survived.
Insects are consitered animals, people just don't like them as much, so they don't like to think of them as such. That way when people go screaming about animal rights... they can still step on that ant that looked at them wrong.
Animal [an-uh-muhl]-noun
Any member of the kingdom Animalia, comprising multicellular organisms that have a well-defined shape and usually limited growth, can move voluntarily, actively acquire food and digest it internally, and have sensory and nervous systems that allow them to respond rapidly to stimuli: some classification schemes also include protozoa and certain other single-celled eukaryotes that have motility and animallike nutritional modes.
