Err... yes, it's an Apple solution of course... Hey, you have an iPhone and a Mac... Why would I give you a PC solution? 😉
Awwwe..... wazzup?

err.... you seem to have that the wrong way. I have both and Mac is clearly more user friendly. What's the user friendliness in having to press start in order to shut down your computer?

Well, as I said I have both. Had PC's for over 25 years and I do think Mac is more designed around the user.
I agree. I like PCs because I am a computer nerd to be honest, my computer is customized (I built it a year ago) and is basically rebuilt constantly because I am a gamer and like my games to run the best and better when newer higher demanding games come out. As a system builder I pretty much have to go with PC, plus I like how Windows is a one size fits all OS and lets me change it to my liking at times. I can add this video card, change out this power supply, and swap motherboards because my new video card blocked all SATA ports (true story, lol)
However, PC IMHO are not nearly as secure as Macs because firstly they are target more because of their popularity, and I believe a little has to do with Macs being UNIX based gives them some security, but I believe the first is the main reason why.
Windows thus requires frequent updates, it NEEDS Anti-virus software and Anti-Spyware programs, which is all frequently needed with windows to keep it nice.
I have no problem doing all of the above because I am a nerd lol I like it!
but it is my opinion that Macs are generally better for people not used to using computers (say, if your mom or grandma just wants to surf the web or do email) because you basically can't crash or slow down on a Mac by simple neglect like you can on windows as much.
The Mac GUI is also pretty user friendly, which is why I don't like it I am SO familiar with Windows, which isn't really a problem for me.
Oh yeah, and Macs can be really expensive, so I suppose you have to have a good reason to get one to fork over all the cash, because a PC with similar specs usually will be much cheaper. I spent almost 700 for a really nice PC laptop, the Apple model was double that and the specs were about the same. I suppose you are paying for the OS and some of the hardware.

My main problem with PC gaming is that you have to keep updating the computer to keep up with the gaming demand. Always stuck with Console gaming myself. Though, I do love my PC RTS games. (Red Alert FTW)

It is all in the specs so I suppose with high end specs depending on the job and the right software any machine can be a work horse.
I hear Macs are great for audio and video work.

Yes, it is very expensive sometimes. I spent enough money to buy a new Xbox 360 just to upgrade my motherboard, video card, and power supply to get ready for the new Call of Duty later this year.

I wish I had enough money to keep upgrading my computer. I want to get a good Desktop for The Old Republic, then (atleast try) to keep it updated for future games. but that looks unlikely...

I felt the same way for a while, as soon as you get a job though things change, believe me.
