Well, I had an interesting night as closing projectionist at the theater last night... We had a drunk guy come in wanting to go see Book of Eli, he talked to my manager and me for a while telling us about how he has only 3 weeks to live because he has some liver disease, and that his Grandmother (whom he had been taking care of) was probably not going to live through the night (she was in the Hospital at the time). I tended to want to believe him, he seemed like a nice enough guy, and when he found out we were collecting Peanut Butter for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, he asked if we were taking money, and when my manager said yes, he rushed off to get his wallet from in the theater (he never gave anything, though I will admit, we had to go find the wallet so he could've easily forgotten about it.) He said he was on pain killers, and he could have very well been, but we clearly smelled Alchol on him. He ended up calling a friend (atleast I assume it was a friend) and asking them to pick him up, but 10 miniutes later headed down to the hotels nearby saying "it looks like they're not coming." Then about 5-10 minutes later the friend called the theater looking for him. All-in-all I felt kinda bad for the guy, hope he's ok.

I still need to see that movie.

It was ok, I enjoyed it. It wasn't the greatest movie in the world, but also wasn't the worst. It also didn't help that I had 2 elderly women sitting behind me, commenting loudly to each other throughout the entire thing...
