i aint even mad, because tbh i've had zero confidence in it since it was announced. but maybe it will survive like rogue one, and it will turn out that a lot of people liked it despite it not being a very good movie.
i hope so, because it really wouldn't do the franchise any good to churn out it's first all-out flop.
Rogue One bored me to tears, minus the ending with Vader which was amazing. I didn't find it to be very memorable but a lot of people did like it, as mentioned.
As for Solo, the fact that the original directors were let go mid way through, and Ron Howard re-shot like over half the movie, I wasn't exactly confident this was going to go over well. I won't dismiss it entirely until I see the film, but I just have a bad feeling about it. Making a Han Solo movie with anyone other than Harrison Ford in the role seems wrong.
And whereas The Last Jedi has been universally loathed....I loved it.
i don't think it was universally loathed. i wouldn't put stock in a massively butthurt internet downvote movements.
i mean look how RT rated rogue one and compare it to how they shitstormed TLJ
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/franchise/star_wars_saga
and yet TLJ beat R1 in domestic box office sales. (as well as ep2 & 3)
