No competition. I'm a mod and I will close that thing. THis thread exists due to the explicit permission of the Great and Powerful Raz, the Grill does not.

Why can't we have two social threads? No offense to yours or anything. The other Star Wars forums don't even have one. Was it really hurting anyone?

This is an old debate, pal. And the mods have talked it over many times. Doesn't sound like a one-mod's decision to change that. There's a whole social forum, where everyone can chat all they want. Here, we talk about SW and only recently ONE social thread was allowed here for SW fans only to chit-chat.
So there...

It's not a rule etched in stone or anything, but I do feel it should be discussed with the SW mods (and particularly with Raz) before your Grill gets reopened.
