Flag Code
im not sure of how many of u have heard of this, but it's pretty much the rules and regulations about displaying, etc. of the american flag. and we americans are in great violation of some of these points. being a boy scout and brought up to give the upmost respect to the flag and what it stands for, i decided to bring these violations up.

well, one states that the flag shall not be part of ne athletic team uniform or nething like that. so the little american flag stickers on the back of athletes' helmets? in direct violation of the flag code.
their is also to be no flag emblem on ne article of clothing unless it's on a policemen's, a firemen's, a military personel's, or ne other patriotic organization's uniforms. that means sweatshirts, t-shirts, socks, w/ever with an american flag on it? in direct violation of the flag code
it also states that the flag shall not be used for advertising. NO EXCEPTIONS! but uncle sam witht he flag saying we want you is advertising the military so it's ok, right? WRONG. posters or nething with a flag on it that is advertising something else? in direct violation of the flag code.
i hate when bands do that and people do that. and when people think theyre being patriotic when they have a flag out of the door of their car which is ok, but ive seen so many people with a torn flag or one in really bad condition which is against flag code. but lately ive been noticing little things that are offenses, but no one else cares
