He seems to be rather stupid too. And well telling the truth is not one of his strong sides. ....

Anyway Churchill was a good politician, and he was funny. Of course he was not perfect, and the more socialist parts of society nowadays probably don't like him too much.

How the heck did Chruchill ever get a good reputation of character for someone to think it is radical to challenge thaT?

The whole POIBT is that Churchill was not a very nice man; arrogant, power-hungry, dismissive of liberalism, a hater of Ghandi, and a man whose ambition outstripped the ability of his organisations to protect the lives of the people he sent to their deaths at Gallipoli and Norway.

But DESPITE that, he becomes the greatest UK leader of the 20th century (and then, of course, gets dumped as soon as the war is done because he was useless for anything else). He might have been many bad things, but he was always right about Hitler, from the start.

I have little idea of what Churchill was like. Whatever, he led the UK through WWII. For that I am thankful. He was certainly a lesser evil than Hitler.

Yeah, Kidrock seems divorced from any sense of reality there...
