i really loved the original texas chainsaw massacre, the characters were easily fleshed out and they did not rely on gore out like the remake its truly a classic.

it may not rank in the catagory but the village was a well crafted spooky movie,i loved the writing and definetly the wide variety of characters but i was a little dissapointed in the end.

cabin fever was also good,it was a throwback to the original evil dead and i loved the gore and blood,i enjoyed it

them are my three favorites because i love when the characters are real and likeable and i like the notion that the supernatural may exist to **** with you,i like the fact that my top 3 were not predictable and bounced the notion of what would happen next, thats what makes a great horror movie

In my opinion Scream is the greatest horror movie ever made. It was suspensful, it had some pop out scares, and it didn't have to rely on gore that much. (except for the beginning which told everyone that this is gonna be a scary a$$ movie) And in my opinion it had the greatest ending to a horror movie ever.

A good horror should b scary and when u think its gonna stop being scary somethin makes u jump out of ur seat! now thats awesome 👆
