Wow, the memories of this one! I remember one summer my cousin & I went camping in my father's back woods, and we were pretending we were in Stand By Me, since there's a train track back there! Of course, we didn't go nearly as far as them (d'uh), since we were like, 8 years old! But still, it's cool!
STAND BY ME
When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we see
No, I won't be afraid
Oh, I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand
Stand by me, so
* Darling darling stand by me
Oh, stand by me
Oh stand, stand by me, stand by me
If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
Ot the mountain
Should crumble to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry
No, I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand
Stand by me, and
(Repeat * 2 times)
Whenever you're in trouble
Won't you stand by me, oh stand by me
One of my favourite films.
I like the soundtrack and was extraordinarily happy and surprised when while I was clubbing in Prague "Lolli-pop" started blaring in the early hours of the morning. One of those surreal drunken moments - me and my mates scooting along the dance-floor like Teddy and Vern surrounded by people who had no idea what was going on.
Lolli-pop lolli-pop
woah lolli lolli lolli,
Lolli-pop lolli-pop
woah lolli lolli lolli,
Lolli-pop *pop*
duh duh-dum dum dum.....
