it's not his fault he doesn't want to let people down..he just scared of failing..and everybody needs a hero sometimes...😬..and before you say he's all perfect he flawed like everyone else...I'm figuring cause your from NZ you haven't seen all the episodes yet (unless you've downloaded them)...Everybody loves Jack you just cant hate him

it is just basic to have a hero in a story line like this --if you didnt have at least one person with their head screwed on straight then where would the show really be... it would be a mad mess

I'm sorry I just can't stand Jack... if I were on that island I'd tell Jack to get off his high horse. He thinks he can do everything...

I'm not saying it's a bad decision to write him that way story-wise because I enjoy hating him... I just wont be sad when he dies...

he better not die, hes the doctor! theyd all be screwed if he died.

thats ok..everyone's got there favourite characters..and yeah sawyer is great...but he actually does do what jack wants him to do in the end..somehow or another..most of the time..I think he kind of looks up to jack...and also..i dont think that it's jack that thinks he can do everything..in fact you'll find it's other peoples expectations of him..they all automatically looked up to him as a leader cause he was helpful during the first few episodes..due to his medical background and now people on the island expect it all from him..and he's afraid he'll let them down..so he tries his best..always pleasing others not himself...he never asked to be leader..he has his own issues to deal with like his fathers death.And if he was to die it would be far to noticeable...and he would be missed ..cause even though lost doesn't have an actual main character..he comes close to it.
