Starting on my new interest - poetry

Next week I have school holiday, so I will be able to write more poetry... I'm quite new to poetry, so hopefully I can get some comments on whether I am doing right or wrong..

D@mn.. Philosophicus made me interested in poetry now... I feel like I can write about anything!!!

Memories of mine are everlasting,
Grave to the heart, so as to the mind,
Given time, hope and trust,
All that ever remains, will forever past...

We connect each other with a bind.
Day by day we thought of each other,
How wonderful fate has brought us together...

...Familiarity...

People grow, and people age,
People learn and still make mistakes.
People think they know it all,
And till then, their head still aches.
But to me,
Familiarity is none,
But a wheel of fortune, that's all...

We often think that we know it all... but even the experience will tell you that you are still venturing in a superficial way of life... Everyone is eventually...

Butterflies everywhere,
But I can't find them anywhere.

What I think is there within,

...Her Birthday...

May each day be a good day,
To start my brand new day.
But what I wished everyday,
Was to celebrate her Birthday.
People dancing, singing and smiling that it was Chirstmas day,
But to me it's still her Birthday...

Once I thought that people won't know,
Just to know that they do know.
What is best so that everyone knows,
That when people ask me if I know,
I wouldn't say NO.
Am I lying?

...Courage...

What is courage,
When there is no barrage?
Is courage a heritage,
Or is it just my age?
Who can define courage,
When nobody has the courage?
You alone can trigger your courage...

...Bring Me To My Grave...

Day is near dawn,
And I'm still holding on somehow,
Grasping for air, like a suffocated man,
Breathing wildly, that I might lose my life.

The room somehow has turned to mist,
Finding my way out of the mist, is just impossible.
Somehow I felt like I didn't have to breath anymore,
Relax is what I felt like doing,
And I laid back for eternal rest.

hmm... I just knew that they have banned you philosophicus... sorry to hear that, but what they are doing SHOULD be temporary...

Sorry, but all my poems are quite childish.. lol!!!

...Facts of Life...

Elephants humongous, Lions roars.
What a person can do is just like a wh0r3.

People will do anything,
Just to reach their aim.
Consciously or sub-consciously is still their aim.
Destroying properties, or even
Eliminating their own kind.
These will always be the facts of life...

...Life of a lost hope...

Live my life, like none other way.
Thought to myself, that there should be a way.
I'm suffering everyday, even though time holds me back.
But then what is better, than just sit and lay back?

I've known few ways to conquer my depression,
But few leads to justification.
I live my life everyday, in one thought of lost hope.
Can I still be myself, even though "true life" has left me?

Time had come for me to say good-bye,
But I rejected it as time goes by.
I thought of a miracle, which I greatly longed for,
That I will find contentment in the future I hoped for.

What am I now? I utter to myself,
Am I just here, when there's no hope to regain what I lost?
To just sit back and wait for me to age?
Is there still hope, of bringing me back to life?

There could or not be an answer, but
If there's an answer - To that, I will have to regain some confidence...
