say if he shot a mirror and the blast bounced back, and hit him, his body would just absorb the energy... it wouldnt hurt him one bit...

its the ruby quartz, they absorb the enrgy rather than block it... eventually the energy dissipates...

With the diamond skin (which makes her IMPERVIOUS to Cyclops' blasts) and telepathy, Emma's got to be one of the most powerful mutants out there. She's a real b!tch! And she's cool about it, too...She's not into a Pheonix-ish PSYCHIC BLAST YOU TO PURGATORY!!! kinda approach, but more of a "I'm going to amplify your sense by a gaziilion, so when I punch you, it'll go WHAMMY!" Except, in an elitist attitude.

But, how can you blame her? She IS the perfect gal...no heart, though...or you would think! At least ONE out of 10 students that go under her care die...rumours have it she's jinxed! At one point, she lost all 15 or so students, and in another, at least 10...poor, poor, Emma. And when Jean comes back, Emma will be distressed....

I just CAN'T get enough of her! I mean, honestly, WHAT would Astonishing X-Men BE without Emma and Kitty bickering? A good book, sure, but not an ASTONISHING book!
