are you better off on KMC Forums?

Is it better off to be on a site like KMC Forums, or to just be going about your business as a person not partial to computer forums? Personally, I find it healthy to be a part of a society, a microcosmic shell of intelligence and data, mind you, than to not be. I get to communicate with people all over the globe who have one thing in common, the love of movies. Also, I learn from them. Go.

Different forums for different people, obviously. Users have their own preferences, like the POTC, music, or movie discussion forums for example, and they "come together" (sort of) in the GD and OTF forums. Even though I would characterize the OTF as more of "coming apart," rather. 😛

I'd probably be better off not visiting KMC all the time, but I can't help myself. I'm addicted

The benefit of forums is that you get to converse with people from not only different countries but different social circles that you would not normal have contact with, this way you get to have differing and more diverse opinions.

KMC and MSN are the only things I ever do on the PC

I went a month without KMC during late December/early January...and things were great.

I think my life is much more interesting without KMC......I'm just absolutely addicted to this place so i can't get the hell away.

Well, I like to go on forums because 1) there's neat stuff I'm interested in (I'd never before found a forum with a dedicated role-play area), and 2) I can meet all sorts of people I'd never get a chance to before. I talk with people I've meet here from all over the world.

And also, those who know me, can definitely vouch for the fact that since joining here I've become much less shy and much more social...

ahhhh KMC....the cancer I could never get surgically removed.

yup... I've definitely managed to make friends with people from far far away.... I mean, look at Eggmayo.... he lives, what, like twelve miles away... without KMC, how could we have become friends over such a vast distance....????
