I used to have the same hang-ups over comics that you do, until i realized that most mainstream comics are nothing but inconsistencies, ridiculously bad writing with occasional fine artwork.
You say Superman can't do half the things he does...,then how has he done them? The writers decide what a character can and can't do, which is why im flabbergasted at how you think physics and logic have a place in comics. The Hulk has no more place in the realm of logic than Superman.
If you are silly enough to engage in a debate over Superhero's then you have to accept that anything that has happened in the comics is fair game, unless those feats were later dispelled. This is why it's a risky decision to get involved in a debate over who is stronger...,Superman or the Hulk. The Hulk has the ridiculous advantage of never having shown his true strength. Superman has much of the same advantage. If you are going to get emotional over these things, you should best not get involved at all. It took me a long time to learn that 😂 Everyone is a fanboy towards something. Anyway, if we go by logic, instead of feats, Hulk is supposed to be physically strong, thats his trait.
He's got too much muscle not to be. Now who can lift more is a deferent story, but who's stronger, Hulk just needs to put some weight into to it, and combined with his muscle, he has the ability to supply more pressure.
The Hulk would win in an arm wrestle using his weight.

what logic? At what point is it logical that the Hulk or Superman can do anything that they do? To superman, earths gravity is of little consequence. What you said about applying pressure applies to Superman as well. It is not Supermans muscle mass that makes him so strong. If Superman can endure the force of flying faster than the speed of sound, i dont think the Hulks weight would be of much concern to him. Pound for pound, though, i do agree that the Hulk is stronger than Superman.
I love both of these characters to death, but yes, pound for pound the Hulk is stronger. More often then not, Superman has been overpowered and has had to be cunning. The Hulk hasn't had to do that much because he can just grow stronger as he gets angrier & as he finds himself being truly challenged. I honestly think that if Superman tried to go head up with the Hulk, the Hulk would deliver a beating worse than what Doomsday did to him.

Seeing as The Spirit bomb is energy from the earth and most of that is solar, i hardly think it would effect Supes. Darkseids Omega beam is probably more effective against Supes.
Oh and if BRuce/Hulk actually went all out and put aside all logic, he would kick Supes @ss. We've never realy seen what would happen if he just kept fighting.
