The Moon & Antarctica is one of my favorite albums. Lonesome Crowded West is pretty good too but it's not for everyone (if you're looking for another 'TM&A' this isn't it). I've have to agree that they resembe the Pixies a bit, but they are just Modest Mouse to me. Good News isn't bad, but I prefer their older stuff.

脤 only have two and so far I would say We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank. Plan on getting more though.

I heard of them before, though, admittedly the only reason why I checked them out as soon as I did was Johnny Marr joining them. But I liked what I heard.
