You mean in re-runs? Because you weren't even born when it came out. Catching re-runs on Cartoon Network in the 2000-2001, sure, it'll seem silly to you.

In World of Warcraft, my pet cat's name is Panthro. And I'm fairly sure I had action figures for all of them. Including the Battle Cat.

thundercats is still one of my favorite cartoons out there next to he-man gi joe x-men spider-man
