Y'know it's funny - I've never actually ever responded directly to that last post. And if you're reading this old boy (and I sincerely hope you are), then all I can say is ... if you can't write your own material, then at least don't go stealing mine 😛 !
Sigh 🙁 ... I really hoped that, after spending some time away from this place, you'd return to the KMC like myself (as you have *repeatedly* reminded me on many occasions - including getting some digs in in that last post 😛 !). But, with the passing of time, this is sadly looking less and less likely 🙁. What ever happened to possibly dropping in "for a post here and there"? I'm sorry to read that you didn't find that much joy here (as you put it) in your last few months here, but wouldn't circumstances have changed by now (both your own, and those at the KMC that made you want to leave in the first place)?
Unbelievably, two years on, the Bond forum still just ain't the same without you (and Clovie). And so, whilst I would understand if you never came back to the KMC, I am still very hopeful that your final words will - one day - come true:

Woah woah woah - they've renamed this "The Temporary Goodbye Thread" 😒 ?! Regardless of this thread's original purpose, it had looong since instead become a social thread, of sorts, for the James Bond forum (in which just one of the things that people did was announce their departures or returns - and no, not just me!).
Tbh, I don't even know why this was moved to the OTF in the first place, as it had no relevance to any of the KMC users other than those who frequented the 007 forum; other forums have a "social discussion thread" (such as the "Terminator" one), so why not the JB forum? This thread had accumulated a whopping 45+ pages over almost 3 years when it was moved - that kinda made me assume that the mods were okay with it in its original location! And the worst thing is that, now that it's been merged with other threads, there's no going back; thanks, mods, for that 😒 ...
For the JB forum, 45 pages is a hell of a lot!
Look ... there's nothing wrong with me; I just don't understand why a thread solely meant for (and sustained by) members of the 007 forum ended up here, that's all. But, as I said, now that other threads have been merged with it, there's nothing that can be done (and therefore, I suppose, no use in me complaining).
