Some of the mods are trying to convince WD to stay. It's his choice, but we think the criticism is unfair. WD took the heat and made the bans, but all mods are informed of troublesome members and are a part of the decision process. There is always a valid reason why a member gets banned. Popularity of certain members notwithstanding, we follow similar protocols for all cases so that favoritism or bias is kept to a minimum. I don't want to comment specifically on the events, but I hope WD stays on and I trust that the criticism will stop, either voluntarily or forcefully, since it amounts to overt bashing at this point and isn't warranted.
For the most part, or at least myself, it is not the fact that Tired Hiker's popularity filling me with disgust. It's the stupid reason for his temp-ban. Temp or not, it all goes on his so-to-speak permanent record, which will leave him one step closer to being perma banned should he ever really cause any trouble via an argument or anything of the matter. Warning or not, basically this came down to getting a f*cking temp-ban for spamming in the OTF. Land of the spam. Even though his goodbye theads were nothing compared to the incomprehensible amount of "Hey (Username)" threads or those god-forsaken mycitythreads from not too long ago.

This is debatable right here, as well as opinionated. Some think it was fair.
