What do you guys mean "do it when you are ready"? How do you define "ready"?

Also regarless of your age, are you not concerned about STDs, regrets and BABIES? I am not preaching to you guys, I am just wondering how you guys think you can prevent that? Do you not know that there are TONS of teens pregnancies and that they were never as many STDs among teens as now?

Did you know that 1 in 5 girls end up with clamedia? The awful thing about clamedia is that you never know you even have until one day you want to be a mommy only to find out that you will never be able to have kids again. 1 in 5 giirls!!!!

If you are not thinking with your sex-drive then does it not make sense to hold off until much later? (IMO when you get married. I could give lots of great reasons for that but this might not be the right place)

I do know, however, where you guys are coming from. I remember when I was a teen. That is all I thought about but that is becasue I did not know then what I know now.

And I wont even ask what you ladies mean when you say your first time should be with someone much older that you...

I am ready for the rotten tomatoes now...

Condoms
Morning after
Not sleeping with the town whore
Getting tested (both partners) before you go "all the way"

There's many things you can do to prevent the spread of diseases, most people are too stupid to realize it.

Getting tested for aids takes at least 5 years for results to be true........

That's...why...you...test...for...HIV...first.

I've heard it doesn't show up.......It takes at least 5 years to do so.......Hemophiliacs are very worried about this............ie....blood transfusions...

Bullshit, where'd you hear that?

Testing for HIV should occur 3 months after your first sexual encounter, anytime before 3 months the results will be unclear. Anytime after 3 months the results will be correct most of the time, which is why you need to have regular testing.

And I quote...

To find out when you should be tested, discuss it with your testing site staff or personal physician. The tests commonly used to detect HIV infection actually look for antibodies produced by your body to fight HIV. Most people will develop detectable antibodies within 3 months after infection, the average being 20 days. In rare cases, it can take 6-12 months. During the time between exposure and the test, it is important to avoid any behavior that might result in exposure to blood, semen, or vaginal secretions.

5 years? What a load of crap.

What I have heard was about 10 years old.........maybe things have progressed to knowing sooner....I only stated from what I have read..... If I'm giving wrong information, than I apologise..........but this was a fact at that time.............I've know people that have gotten blood transfusions and were told this also......

And why haven't you looked into it after 10 years? Sounds to me like you need to be re-educated on STD's.

10 years!? How do you rely on information 10 years old!?

Because I have friends that have taken blood transfusions and told me the same.

So you rely on second hand information on something as serious as HIV/AIDS?

Not second hand if it's coming from people that were going through it themselves and worried, and this is what their doctors told them.....

Yes it is. First hand information is that you went through it yourself.

Well, I don't have a disease...........been tested....but people that have had blood transfusions are very worried..........now things might have changed, and my info might be old...........but this was a great concern for married couples who once had a transfusion..........

Blood transfusion is safer than ever before through continued improvements in safe donor recruitment, screening of donors, testing of donated blood and appropriate clinical use of blood.

Isaac Asimov died of AIDS because of a bad blood transfusion....

Only when someone is ready.

You've been tested, but you only know second hand information? How long has it been since you've been tested?

12 years..............that is in that making.................every so often.Unusually every 3 to 4 years.
