Someone who is a committed Christian, and does not believe in sex before marriage, may be married in her late twenties, early thirties. There is nothing shameful about losing ones virginity at that age. I am 22, and will be 23 in September. I am still a virgin, and intend to stay one until I find the right person. I will lose my virginity when it feels right for me. 🙂
Many people here seem to think the world average of losing virginity would be close to 16. That would be right if all world cultures were the same. However, if you add countries like India (which has a billion people) and Islamic countries, where people generally don't tend to lose their virginity before their marriage, the average age would go much higher.....
