charlie higson...know for his writing and starring in the great british comedy series "the fast show" has been given license to and has completed writing silverfin

silverfin is a childrens novel based around the eton school days of James Bond

Yup! I heard about that one too. Should make interesting reading!

but how sure can you be that it will be a good or interesting read?

it was reviewed last night on newsnight review and was given alot of praise...even that it may match the harry potter series in popularity with children

charlie higson was however concerned about how it would be recieved by the bond fan boys...

as long as the book is not aimed at children then 😖

Kids grow up so fast these days... I suppose the sexual escapades will remain as character theme? if the book is to be directed towards kids.

they can't leave that out RA... but harry poter-like? I won't be looking forward to the book now 😖
