French actress Elodie Bouchez is joining the cast of ABC's Alias as a series regular, says The Hollywood Reporter. She joins newcomer Rachel Nichols in the fifth season of the hit spy drama which premieres on Thursday, September 29 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET).

Bouchez will play Zoe Rienne, an internationally wanted criminal who, unbeknownst to Sydney (Jennifer Garner), has been secretly working with Vaughn (Michael Vartan) for several years.

Bouchez has won two Cesar Awards -- France's top film honors -- for her roles in the films Wild Reeds and The Dreamlife of Angels, the latter of which also earned her best actress honors at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival.

we dont really know what vaughn is.. he said he had to tell her a lot, and that he wasnt who he thought she was and his name wasnt vaughn.. then car crash. I dont think vaugn is a "bad" guy I just think he has other motives and he was using the cia as a means to an end.

i heard that Jen. Garner is leaving the show. She might be in Season 5 Alias,.. but her role wouldnt be a major role..

I am not gonna watch alias if Jen's not in the movie.. 🙁
