Violent Popups

Hello all,
I just thought it interesting at how many of those internet popups are violent.
"Shoot the terrorist"
"Beat the robber"
"Shoot the enemy"

and win blah blah blah in the processs, (if you buy this this this and that)

Anyway, what do you all thinkof these type popups??? do they annoy you? What are your experiences with them? has anyone actually gone on and jumped all the hoops and actually received a prize from one of these popups?

I use firefox instead of ie that seems to block them all. If you upgrade to the latest version of Windows Internet explorer you should br able to block most of them, but not all.

Get Firefox or the Google Toolbar for IE.

As for advertisments in general, I hate them 😉

even this site has many ads at the top...including two of the three I mentioned

i need a violent pup

I rock IE with the Google tool bar and that does a pretty descent job. I also have been using Microsoft's anti-spyware beta and that seems to work pretty well.

What do I think of annoying, "violent" pop-up ads? They make me want to kill the people who created them.

I ignore the ads unless they're those creepy talking ones that would occasionally come up on here. Those are gone, though.
