the only problem is the invisible woman making similar roadblocks.... but once her car is wrecked GL can create new cars for the guys or fix the existing ones (if there is any damage) and finish the race, while the girls sit at the side with no hope of winning

NO THERE ISN'T! The rules clearly state that the contenders must stay in their vehicles. It adds that they are allowed to use their powers on their opponents vehicles. It never says that they are not allowed to use their powers on the actual people. It only prohibits leaving the vehicle.

if mindwipes are allowed then this is the most biased fight possible...

a team with an incredibly powerful telepath versus a team with no telepath, not to mention the fact that wolverine is practically neutered unless he can get within arms length of the other cars...

Not that this is a bad thing or anything, just an observation, but you complain about that alot. You should've chosen telepaths when the drafting was going on.

i chose three men (when i voted) that would be useful in a fight against a telepath...

and this fight is biased... seriously...

sue can create shields around the girls cars also so they can't get hit. and try goin at top speed when there is like three tornados ahead of you

it clearly outlines what they CAN use their powers for and at no point does it mention using them directly on their opponents..... without any extra rules, this mean no mindwipes

i already posted my guys win scenario before the power usage debate

but didn't you say that the guys destroy the girls cars?? they can have shields too- and it'l ba a little hard to go fast when you have hurricane winds coming at you

GL's ring can protect himself and his teammates from anything up to and including a nuclear blast........ and probably beyond...... while at the same time creating a nuke to take down the girls, or even create a blinding light to .....erm...... blind them

Hey Hey Hey! Don't make assumptions. Its a loophole, meaning that since I did not prohibit it, it basically fair game.

it isn't an assumption, the language you used said clearly that they can use their powers against their opponents cars or to strengthen their own team, maybe that isn't exactly what you meant but it is what you said, therefore it is what i have been using

this is pretty specific.......... once the rules are set everyone has to play by them, you can't just change them later and say "but this is what i really meant"

the "or to" part is what limits the power usage, it defines a one or the other type of choice

If I look at it, it sound more like a suggestion of what they can do. Those are the rules, but still, the only thing that it clearly prohibits is leaving their vehicles. Nothing else. And I don't think that it is very nice to tell the person that created the mission what is valid and what is not.

i'm not trying to be harsh, all i'm saying is that when making the rules, take the time to read over them before posting them........ once a rule is set, that's it set......... sorry if i upset anyone
