Newtype is great, it's expensive (like $10 an issue), but it comes with a DVD, a poster, and postcards. It's actually originally a Japanese magazine. It covers pretty much any anime and manga that are currently out in both Japan and the US. One of my friends had one of her fanarts published in Newtype last year 😄

Shonen Jump is crap! What they produce in those over sized, over the counter, rack infested, dust collecting, ass wiping magna comic books, are ten year old stories. What you need to get are more recent magna. Any bit torrent has them. Don't waste you money on SJ, download the magna off bit torrent sites, see of you like your selection, and then if you wanna buy them, search for them. SJ gives you a collection of crappy titles, and only a small taste. Go overkill, go bit torrent.
