why do people lie?

🙁 dont be mean! he did to me what he did to every other girl! wrote me the most romantix letters, told me he luvs me then says he luvs some1 else! i never acctually luvd him, but i rilly likd him!

I am just going to say ONE thing... You got a thread with eight pages and everybody was supporting you... I started a thread just like yours i would get 2 posts, probly one from §pearhead saying "WTF is wrong with?" and another one from Raz "Geez, another thread like this? Closed"

ofcourse I don't know the situation you are in but I do know ppl who feel the same way and usualy they are mistaken.

it is not because you perceive yourself as being ugly that others do that, if you are going to think they are lying when ever they say something you disagree with you will find that a lot of ppl lie

I once met a man who said he never told the truth... but then I found out he was lying...

People lie because it sometimes gives hope. Like if you see your friend is shot you'll say everything is going to be alright eventhough you know it's not gonna happen (sick example I know)
