If you're allowed to use the "it's common sense" method of arguing then you MUST allow it to apply to the opponent she's fighting.
Now, seriously. It's common sense that Iron Man can defeat her almost instantly based on all of his feats. He outclasses her in every single category. By leagues. He would have her dead before she could summon her first lightning bolt (I'm exaggerating, don't spaz).

This fight is not really a fight. Iron Man hands down is built for high lvl 1 on 1 even 3 on 1 combat. Storm is a team player who can affect large areas. She is more powerful than him by far because she can affect more and do more widescale dmg. But in a fight, You are certainly right, he outclasses her in every way that counts.

Which issue of X-Treme X-Men is this? I have almost all of them.
And in regards to the Rogue/Storm thing, Storm had SUCH a lead on Rogue that it wasn't even funny. Rogue (Classic) has ALWAYS been faster than Storm, able to travel at subsonic speeds, far faster than the fastest winds could propel Storm. Rogue just simply admitted that there was no way she could reach Storm in time, not that Storm was faster and that Rogue would never be able to catch her.
