excuses

what are your excuses for smoking i.e when some one says u shouldn't smoke. mine are:
someone: those things are bad for you.
me: yes but so's getting old and we all do it.

someone: they will take ten years off the end of your life you know!?
me: yes but they are the shitty years any way.

whats yours. no offence to non-smokers.
