No. I said when Sean Connery stepped down. Roger Moore was doing The Saint so he couldn't be Bond. Thunderball was going to be Connery's last Bond, before he agreed to do one more. However, they had someone else slated to be Bond since Moore was unavailable. And since Moore was still contracted for The Saint in 1969, he couldn't do OHMSS either. Seeing how bad OHMSS did in the box office, Connery agreed to do one more Bond DAF. Then Connery said no more. They then had to get another Bond. However Moore was still under contract. However since MGM owned the production company that produced The Saint Moore was able to get out of his contract and do LALD.
But they originally had another actor in mind if Moore wasn't able to be Bond. Who was it?
